Staff Changes
A warm welcome is extended to new Enlighten staff. They are……..Anthea Africa, who joined Enlighten as the Technology and Literacy facilitator, Jimmy Wepener, Business Ventures facilitator, Rocky de Villiers who will be managing the Language and Numeracy Laboratory, and Lianna Morrison, our new counselor, who has a full timetable at three schools already. We hope that they will feel content and fulfilled at Enlighten.

Patti Silbert and Johan Ryk have both completed their whole school development projects. Both have been a joy to work with and I certainly will miss them both.
End of Year Functions
The last major event of the year for Enlighten was the Merit Awards ceremony which was held on 2nd December. This is our opportunity to acknowledge individuals who have done excellent work in the various projects or who have contributed to the promotion of the work of Enlighten.
A small end-of-year Staff Function took place on the 3th December for staff, trustees and spouses to celebrate the end of a very rewarding year.
