An informal afternoon tea was held at Qhayiya on the 12th May with the full staff complement. This is part of our plan to get to know educators better and develop relationships with all educators – even those with whom we are presently not working. It turned out to be a very happy occasion with a lot of banter and laughter. Thanks to all the Enliighten staff who made the effort to be present. This “afternoon tea” was followed by the same thing at Masakhane on the 18th and Gansbaai Primary on the 19th. We all believe that this initiative is reaping great benefits and educators and schools have certainly appreciated the efforts which we have made to spend time with them informally.
